There’s nothing better then showing up to a party and having delicious appetizers that scream the holiday spirit. Throughout this article we are going to show you our favorite 15 appetizers to bring to any Christmas Party.
Most of these recipes are Christmas themed, but they all work for any Christmas Party. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

Stacking Order (put on first to last):
Caesar Veggie Pizza
Bake a premade pizza crust according to the directions on the package. You can use a frozen crust, a refrigerated pack of dough, or a non-refrigerated crust from the pasta aisle. Gluten-free dough is fine, too.
Top with the following ingredients, starting with the cream cheese and dressing, and then ending with the vegetables, bacon, and cheese:
1 pack of cream cheese, softened
½ cup Caesar dressing
1 ½ cups shredded romaine lettuce
½ cup coarsely chopped broccoli
¾ cup finely chopped cooked chicken
¼ cup shredded carrot
4 tablespoons chopped cooked bacon
4 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
Cut into small squares and place on a decorative serving platter.
Raspberry Brie Crackers
Raspberry Brie crackers are elegant and flavorful, and they take mere minutes to prepare. Start with a buttery cracker, such as Ritz, and top it with a generous amount of soft Brie cheese.
Sprinkle slivered almonds (toast them first, if desired) on the Brie, and place 1 or 2 raspberries beside the almonds. Drizzle raw honey over the crackers, taking care not to pour too much on each cracker.
If you don’t have any almonds, you can substitute pecans or walnuts.
String Cheese Wraps
These super simple string cheese wraps only require 3 ingredients and a few minutes of prep time.
12 sticks of string cheese
12 wonton wrappers
Canola oil, vegetable oil, or olive oil
Wrap each wonton wrap around an entire stick of string cheese. If you’re using small wonton wraps, cut the string cheese sticks in half.
Seal the edges with water or oil.
Place the wrapped cheese seam-side down in a frying pan filled with hot oil. Bake for a minute or two on each side, and remove with tongs.
Serve with ranch, Italian dressing, or marinara sauce.
Ricotta and Radish Mini Bagels
Ricotta and radish mini bagels make a great appetizer any time of year. Simply spread ricotta on mini bagels, top with thinly sliced radishes, and drizzle with olive oil and a squirt of lemon juice.
If desired, you can also top these with fresh parsley. If you don’t like radishes, substitute mini cucumbers instead.
Easy Garlic Bread
No time to bake a loaf of bread from scratch? Head to the store and grab a loaf of French or Italian bread, plus butter, garlic salt, and parsley.
Slice the loaf of bread into pieces ½ inch or 1 inch thick. Coat with melted butter and sprinkle a generous amount of garlic salt on each piece.
Top with parsley, and place on a baking tray. Heat for 5 to 10 minutes at 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
If you’re serving dairy-free guests, substitute olive oil for the butter.
Cottage Cheese Veggie Dip
Pour a container of cottage cheese into your blender and add garlic powder, garlic salt, and onion powder.
Blend on low for 10 to 15 seconds. Garnish with cilantro or parsley, and serve with fresh veggies.
Bleu Cheese Potato Chips
Sprinkle Bleu cheese on kettle chips and place on a parchment-covered pan. Broil for 1 to 3 minutes, watching carefully to avoid burning the chips.
Remove the chips as soon as the cheese melts.
Corn, Bean, and Avocado Salsa
Mix cooked corn (canned, fresh, or frozen) with black beans, diced avocado, and fresh cilantro.
Dole small portions onto curved tortilla chips. You can make this appetizer even easier by skipping the avocado and using premade chunky salsa.
Spread store-bought guacamole on flat tortilla chips. Top with spicy shrimp.
Alternately, you can top with flaked salmon or shredded chicken.
There’s no wrong way to make tortilla pinwheels. Lay a tortilla flat and smooth cream cheese on top, then fill with your favorite toppings. Sliced deli meat, thin slices of cheese, and finely diced veggies are great options.
Roll into a log and slice into 1-inch pieces.
Christmas Tree Veggie Platter
This is a very simple, yet fun Recipe. Gather the below ingredients and arrange them as seen in the picture. You can choose any dip you prefer but we always go with ranch and blue cheese.
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 15 grape tomatoes
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper, cut into strips
- 1-2 cups of fresh cauliflower florets
- 20-30 pretzel sticks
Cream Cheese / Guac Christmas Tree Pattern
- 4 flavored or plain pita folds or pita (pocket) bread and try to get them between 5 and 7 inches in diameter.
- 10-15 thin pretzel sticks (you can only use half if desired)
- 1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
- 1/2 cup guacamole
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic-pepper blend
- 1/4 cup very finely chopped red bell pepper
- Cut the pita bread in the desired sizes. We recommend 6 to 8 wedges per piece
- In a bowl, mix the sour cream, guac, parsley, & garlic pepper (numbers 4-6 listed above).
- Spread roughly a table spook to each pita bread wedge
- Arrange the bell peppers in any way you’d like to decorate the gree.
- Insert either a whole or a half of the pretzel stick.
