Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently announced upgrades to cars autopilot systems and this footage shows the very high level of the improvements.
The dashcam video, which was filmed on a Tesla Model X and was then uploaded to Twitter by Hans Noordsij, shows a group of cars driving along a road in the Netherlands.
As he’s driving the ‘forward collision warning’ on the car’s system beeps and the emergency braking system kicks in. Seconds later, the car in front smashes into another vehicle, flipping it over.

This is seriously mind-blowing stuff. Not only did it spot what was happening two cars in front, it was also somehow able to predict the future.
And, according to Electrek, Hans also said that everyone involved in the crash was OK, despite the dramatic flip.
Obviously, this isn’t a substitute for being diligent and being a careful driver, but you have to wonder what it will be capable of in the future.
