Movie villains we can’t help but love

Most movies are based on the confrontation of good and bad characters, but it’s often the villains who steal the show. And sometimes we just can’t help but actively root for the other side because sometimes the bad guys are just so much more fun!

Loopfy invites you to take a look at some of the movie villains we can’t help but love.

Heath Ledger

An amazing actor lost too soon. Heath Ledger delighted us with his Australian accent and bad boy attitude in 10 Things I Hate About You and brilliantly played the baddest of all bad, the Joker in The Dark Knight.

Norman Reedus

Reckless and impulsive Daryl, played by Norman Reedus, has become arguably the most beloved character of The Walking Dead series.

Ian Somerhalder

It is because of Ian every girl wants a vampire boyfriend these days. That mischievous grin and striking, bright blue eyes drive us wild. But along with the incredibly good looks goes a big heart: the actor is a major animal lover and environmentalist.

Tom Hiddleston

Tom Hiddleston excellently portrayed Loki, the god of mischief, whose wicked smile is so hard to resist.

James Franco

James Franco makes us weak in the knees with his good looks, charming smile, and curly hair. It was simply impossible not to root for James’s character in Spider-Man.

Tom Hardy

This handsome British actor gave life to another Batman movie villain — Bane! How do you go from being a man with so much class on the red carpet to someone so wicked and nasty on the screen?

Michael Fassbender

Michael Fassbender portrayed Magneto, the good guy who becomes hell-bent on revenge and power, in X-Men.

Hayden Christensen

Anakin Skywalker is another character who was mesmerized by the dark side of the force. We saw him grow in the Star Wars saga, and even love of Padme couldn’t save him from becoming Darth Vader. Hayden went from playing the most handsome jedi to the terror behind the mask.

Nikolaj Coster Waldau

In recent seasons Jaime Lannister left his wickedness aside to save his brother Tyrion. But it seems that in this new season he will resume his old ways to take revenge next to Cersei. Either way, we sigh every time we see him on the screen.

Ralph Fiennes

We could not miss the baddest of them all on this list: Lord Voldemort. The villain is portrayed by Ralph Fiennes, the actor with the most captivating eyes we’ve ever seen.
